Black Belt Week started off better than ever! All 22 of the presenting black belts performed their own designed open-handed form. And the demo teams from each school showed off their stuff. Here is a video of Springville's Demo team. They were amazing!!! You should have been there!
"This is the Springville Utah Omega Demo Team. We took first place with this demo at the Weber State Electronic Gear Tournament August 9, 2014. The team got a bit behind on the board breaks and missed the last two breaks, but I thought they performed a great job overall. Dear Parents and Students: If you or your student is planning on testing in the May 10th rank advancement test there are a few things that need to be turned in. These four things are: 1. Written Paper 2. Practice Cards for February, March, and April 3. Copy of Grades or letter from parents that grades are good 4. Dear Parents & Students: There has been a slight change in the pretesting schedule for those students who are planning on testing in the February 8th Rank Advancement Test. The new pretesting dates and times are as follows: 1st Pretest: Tuesday, January 28th @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm 2nd Pretest: Saturday, February 1st @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am If you pass your pretest on the first night you are not required to come to the Saturday pretest. SPRINGVILLE, UT, September 30, 2013 – Omega Martial Arts, located at 875 N Main Street in Springville, awarded twenty-two students and four program instructors with new black belts at its annual Black Belt test on Saturday, September 28. This was the largest test to date in Omega history. Over 320 spectators crowded into the Springville dojang throughout the three day, fourteen hour test to support the black belt candidates. The Springville Demo Team placed First at the Utah Open Taekwondo Tournament in Saratoga Springs, UT on October 13, 2012. Below is a video of their performance!
Omega Martial Arts represented our country at the WCMA World Championships held in Cancun Mexico, January 6-8, 2012. Students from all three Omega schools took home medals at the games. Here is a link about the WCMA http://www.wcoaa.org
