Black Belt Week Class Schedule
Dear Parents, Students, & Instructors: Next week (September 21 – 26) is our 2015 Annual Black Belt Week. This is where our Omega Instructors have the opportunity to advance in their black belt ranks. I would highly encourage you to attend as many sessions as time would permit. There is no charge to watch these sessions, so come and enjoy watching your instructors present the Omega System from start to finish. Dear Parents and Students: If you are reading this email then you or your Omega student is getting ready to test for his/her next colored belt rank on Saturday, September 19th. There are some very important deadlines that you need to be aware of regarding the final preparations for testing. 1. You or your student needs to have completed ALL of the progress stripes, including the last Overall Review Stripe no later than this coming Saturday, September 5th. 2. Dear Parents and Students: We had an exciting weekend down at the Utah Summer Games. Many of our students went and had a great experience competing and having fun. I would like to give a great big Congratulations to our Omega Springville Demo Team for taking home the Gold in the Demo Team competition. Kid Kicker Tournament Reminder
Another quick reminder to all Kid Kicker and Little Dragons parents and students that our annual tournament is coming up next Saturday, March 28th. I have sent out multiple reminders about the tournament along with the registration form. Please make sure to get your student signed up by no later than next Wednesday, March 25th. Like I said, this is a wonderful teaching style tournament and it is a great way to introduce your student into martial art competition. We would like to invite all Kid Kicker and Little Dragons students to participate and have fun.

Coming Soon – Women’s Self Defense Class
Omega is excited to announce the beginning of the new Omega Women's Self Defense Class. In the past, this has been offered in a 4 class course. I have had a lot of interest from women who don't want to necessarily participate in our full Omega Martial Arts program, but want to have a knowledge of how to effectively protect themselves. Jeans for Teens Charity Opportunity
Dear Parents and Students: Our awesome Omega Instructor, Sabumnim MaKell Wilson, is spear heading an effort to help out a local non-profit organizations. It is a program called Jeans for Teens. She is looking for gently used pairs of jeans (male and female) to be donated to help clothe children and adults within our local community. It is a very worthy cause and I highly endorse it.
