As part of my journey toward testing for Fourth Degree Black Belt, I have the opportunity to host a seminar on Tuesday, June 9 from 6:50 PM to 7:50 PM, and I would love to invite anyone who is interested to join us.
Throughout this seminar, we’ll be discussing several topics that have become incredibly meaningful to me throughout my martial arts journey, both as a student and as an instructor.
Information We’ll Be Covering
We’ll be exploring ideas centered around leadership through balance, effective communication and teaching practices, building meaningful relationships with students, families, and supporters, developing greater body-to-mind awareness through! training, and applying martial arts principles both on and off the mat. We’ll also spend some time discussing Wing Chun and some of the lessons it offers regarding structure, adaptability, awareness, and personal growth.
I’ve also attached an informational page that summarizes many of these ideas. I would love for everyone to consider adding it to their notebook as a reference for teaching, learning, and remembering our purpose through martial arts. I’ll also have printed copies available at the seminar for anyone who would like one.
My hope is that this seminar provides useful insights for students, instructors, and families alike while creating an opportunity for discussion, reflection, and continued learning together.
If it fits your schedule, I would be thrilled to have you there. I think there will be something valuable for everyone, and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with you all.
Warmest regards,
Sabumnim Rachel Wilkerson
