Grand Opening Events Scheduled for Saturday May 5, 2007

SPRINGVILLE, UT, April 30, 2007 – Omega Martial Arts is proud to announce the opening of its new location at 875 N Main Street in Springville. With 6,000 sq ft, Omega Martial Arts now has the largest workout facility in Utah County and its expanding student base of more than 200 tae kwon do, kid kicker and cardio kickboxing athletes has room to grow. Grand Opening demonstrations and games for all ages will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Saturday’s grand opening is open to the public to come and learn about martial arts – including Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Japanese weaponry, Okinawan forms, Judo throwing, board and brick breaking, self defense techniques and more. Performances by Omega’s demo team will be given throughout the day. Instructors will be on hand for questions about classes and programs and to let attendees try their luck at chimbara fighting and other martial art games.

“We are thrilled to finally open the doors to our new school! Our facility not only has the workout space and tournament rings we need, but it also hosts a thriving group of martial artists who constantly push themselves and each other to be the best they can be. Training in our system is intense and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve the rank of black belt. This new facility gives the instructors and students the tools they need to succeed,” said Richard Davis, head instructor and owner of Omega Martial Arts in Springville.

Classes are held throughout the day Monday through Saturday for all ages, skill levels, and workout goals. Most Omega students live in Springville, Mapleton, Provo and Spanish Fork. This new facility is also available for rental and birthday parties. Please call 801-491-8542 for more information about Omega Martial Arts.
