ALL AGES & ABILITIES

Improve Balance, Learn Meditation, Increase Strength thru Slow Deliberate Movements

Tai Chi (also known as Qigong) combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation and breathing exercises. It is non-competitive and non-violent. These low impact moving meditations include standing and balancing. Although qigong and tai chi are excellent fitness activities for beginners and people with health conditions, elite athletes also benefit from doing the slow movements, because they provide mental and spiritual balance to the physical body and a deeper understanding of the mental mechanics of movement and combat.

These practices can be adapted to fit just about any fitness level. Students may practice seated if they prefer.

All will benefit from the opportunity to unite mind and body.
